Forest School
We are delighted to be able to offer all our children Forest School provision delivered by Elite Kids Coaching. Every child will experience a minimum of half a term’s provision as well as access to lunchtime and after school clubs.
What is Forest School?
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
The sessions
Learning within Forest School setting differs from that of a traditional classroom in that the sessions follow your child’s interests and curiosities, fostering a child-led learning environment. The sessions promote holistic development, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners. The scheme of work is inclusive and will be adapted for all learners. All activities are risk assessed. Each session will take place in a natural setting come rain or shine.

Young Voices
Our children also have the opportunity to attend Young Voices. The Young Voices Concerts take place each year in January and February. On the day of the concert, the choir, along with up to 9,000 other young voices, will rehearse together for the first time, creating a vibrant collective experience. In the evening, the children take part in a breath-taking concert performance featuring a few special guest artists. The UK’s leading sound and light technicians are enlisted to enhance the performance. The excitement and energy in the arena is an unforgettable sensation for each child, making it the most memorable school trip of the year!
